Worth knowing

There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking, or renew it. A trip of 7 days or more never costs more than the car's monthly rate for up to 365 days. Your offer lists every charge, so the price you approve is the price you pay. The deposit is never taken when you book, only shortly before pickup.

What to expect when you book

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

What to bring

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.
