Towing in Coldbrook, IL

Getting it done

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 975 km from Coldbrook, and does not do this work itself. What this is: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. If the car is blocking traffic, stay safe first and call for help.

Who does what

Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. A person reads every request and replies with the next step. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.

Small things that help

Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive.

Honest about distance
