Towing in Compton, IL

Towing in Compton

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Compton is about 833 km away. What it involves: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. If the car is blocking traffic, stay safe first and call for help.

How we help

Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. A person replies within one business day. Your request reaches a person, not a machine. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair.

Small things that help

If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.

A note on distance

CarmaCars works from one location in Toronto and does not operate in Compton. About 833 km in a straight line separate Compton from our location in Toronto; our delivery stops at about 250 km.

If the car can come to the Toronto area, we can arrange a trusted shop there. For a breakdown in Compton, a local service will reach you faster than we can. A request about Compton gets an honest answer from a person. Rates are shown in Canadian dollars.
