Renting with CarmaCars in Compton

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. This page explains what that means if you need a car by the month in Compton. The key point: No subscription contract: rent month to month instead. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement, and you can stop at the end of any booking. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing to send.

Who it is for

Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while. Newcomers waiting for their own car rent for a month or two first.

Why this way of renting

Renting month to month means no long commitment and no buyout at the end. Each new agreement keeps the same simple terms as the first. Each car has its own page with photos of that car, not a stock image of a category. A request is free and commits you to nothing.

Driver requirements

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

What to expect when you book

Tell us the car and the dates in a request. There is no fee for asking. The reply is an offer you can read in full before you decide anything. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.
