Towing in Downs, TX

Towing for Downs

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Downs. A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. Tell us where the car is, where it should go, and whether the keys are with it.

What to send us

If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work.

Good habits for your car

Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.

A short checklist

Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up.

A note on distance

Downs is not an area we serve directly. CarmaCars is based in Toronto. With Downs about 2,073 km from Toronto, it is outside the 250 km we cover.

If the car can come to the Toronto area, we can arrange a trusted shop there. For a breakdown in Downs, a local service will reach you faster than we can. Tell us what you need in Downs, and a person will say straight away whether it is something we can do. Rates are shown in Canadian dollars.
