Why this works

If the claim is not approved, the car's usual rate applies, shown on its page. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly, and we deliver the car to you. You rent the car shown, with its own photos and price. A request is free and commits you to nothing.

Who this suits

Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week. People with family in town who need a second car for a while.

What we ask of drivers

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

The steps

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.

Make a request

Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
