Towing in Goderich

Towing in Goderich

For a tow, CarmaCars sits in the middle: we arrange the work with a trusted shop and rent you a car while yours is in. The job: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. Tell us where the car is, where it should go, and whether the keys are with it.

Who does what

We can deliver a rental car to you while yours is at the shop. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive.

Your rental while you wait

We deliver the rental to you and collect it when your car is ready. Rent by the day or the week, and stop when your car is back. Prefer to collect it? Pickup at our Toronto location is free.

A short checklist

Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.

Good habits for your car

Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Check that all lights work every few weeks.
