Towing in Markham

Arranging the work in Markham

Need a tow in Markham? CarmaCars does not do mechanical work, but we arrange it with a trusted shop and keep you driving meanwhile. What it involves: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. Once you are safe, send a request with where the car is and where it should go.

Who does what

Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location.

A car meanwhile

Keep the rental as long as the shop needs your car. A rental from us means you are not stuck while the shop works. Collecting it from us in Toronto is free.

Good habits for your car

Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.

Talking to the shop

Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
