What CarmaCars does here

Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in.

Between shop visits

Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.

A short checklist

Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
