Towing in Scissors, TX

Towing in Scissors

If you need a tow in Scissors: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. What this is: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. If the car is blocking traffic, stay safe first and call for help.

How the arrangement works

We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. Your request reaches a person, not a machine. We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location.

Between shop visits

If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.

Talking to the shop

Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree.

Our area, and Scissors

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Scissors is outside the area we serve. Scissors lies about 2,589 km from our location in Toronto, well beyond our 250 km delivery area.

If the car can come to the Toronto area, we can arrange a trusted shop there. For work in Scissors, ask in a request and we tell you honestly whether we know a shop there. Still have a question about Scissors? Ask in a request, and we answer plainly. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.
