Towing in Springvale

Towing in Springvale

For a tow, CarmaCars sits in the middle: we arrange the work with a trusted shop and rent you a car while yours is in. What it involves: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. Tell us where the car is, where it should go, and whether the keys are with it.

Our part and the shop's part

Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done.

A car while yours is in the shop

Ask for a rental in the same request as the repair. We deliver the rental, or you collect it from us for free. Self pickup at our Toronto location has no fee.

A short checklist

Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.

Between shop visits

Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.
