Car Diagnostics in Springvale

Getting it done

If your car needs a diagnostic check, send a request: we find a trusted shop for it and keep you moving with a rental. What this is: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.

From request to repair

We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price.

Driving while yours is at the shop

A rental means the repair does not stop your week. Choose a car that suits your week; delivery is priced in the offer. You can also collect the car at our location in Toronto at no charge.

Small things that help

Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive.

Getting a clear quote

Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history.
