Car Diagnostics in Jericho

Car Diagnostics for Jericho

Searching for car diagnostics in Jericho? CarmaCars does not do this work itself, but we arrange it with a trusted shop. The job: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.

Who does what

We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you.

Driving while yours is at the shop

Keep the rental as long as the shop needs your car. A rental means the repair does not stop your week. Coming to us instead? Pickup at our location is free.

Good habits for your car

Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires.

A short checklist

Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon.
