2019 Audi A4 Technik for sale in El Codey

Thinking of buying the 2019 Audi A4 Technik?

CarmaCars is a rental company and does not have the 2019 Audi A4 Technik for sale right now. Rent one for a week first, or ask us to look for one. Here is the 2019 Audi A4 Technik for buyers: fuel use, size, recalls and a test drive that lasts a week.

What to check on the A4

A pre-purchase inspection at a shop you choose is money well spent. A private seller in Ontario must give you a Used Vehicle Information Package. Owners filed 13 complaints with NHTSA, most often about electrical system, engine and unknown or other; have those parts checked. Check whether every recall was done, by the VIN, before you pay.

What the figures tell you

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo does the work, through a 7-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

The combined figure, 7.8 L/100 km, means roughly 23 litres for 300 km. In money, 1,000 km costs about $136.50 at our price setting. EPA puts its fuel cost at US$2,750 a year for 15,000 miles at US prices.

Space and size

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. The EPA measures its luggage space at 368 litres, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.

A longer test drive

A test week in the A4 tells you more than any review. If it is in our fleet, rent it; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Load it with your things and park it where you park; then decide.

Running costs

Tires, brakes and batteries are the regular costs to budget for beyond fuel. Get an insurance quote for this exact model before you buy; rates differ a lot between models. The EPA estimates US$2,750 a year in fuel for 15,000 miles at US prices.

Choosing the right one

Write down the VIN of any car you consider; it unlocks the recall and service history. Compare the Technik with the other trims of the same year before you decide. A newer year is not always better; check what changed before paying more for it.
