Buying a car in Augusta

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Why rent first

Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car?

Buying smart in Ontario

Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car.

Before your next car arrives

Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one.

A note on distance

CarmaCars is not in Augusta. Our one location is in Toronto. Our delivery area ends about 250 km from Toronto, and Augusta is about 519 km out.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Tell us what you need in Augusta, and a person will say straight away whether it is something we can do. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
