What is different here

Who rents this way

People with family in town who need a second car for a while. Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while.

Requirements

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.

Request, offer, keys

All you send at first is a request with the car and the dates, and it is free. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

When you know your dates

Pick a car, send a request, and decide once you see the offer.
