Buying a car in Brookview

We do not sell or finance cars. We rent them, by the day, the week or the month. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Rent it before you buy it

Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most.

What to check before you buy

Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN.

A car meanwhile

Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives.

Distance, honestly

CarmaCars works from one location in Toronto and does not operate in Brookview. About 645 km in a straight line separate Brookview from our location in Toronto; our delivery stops at about 250 km.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. If you still want to ask about Brookview, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. Prices on this site are in Canadian dollars.
