Car Financing in Brookview, MD

Before you buy in Brookview

CarmaCars is a rental company, so we do not sell cars; renting one first is how we help buyers. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Rent it before you buy it

Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it.

Checks worth doing

A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town.

A car meanwhile

A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels.
