Shopping for a car in Cold Spring

CarmaCars is a rental company, so we do not sell cars; renting one first is how we help buyers. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Why rent first

Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence.

Questions to ask

Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used.

Before your next car arrives

Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date.
