Auto Loans: what CarmaCars does
To be upfront: CarmaCars is a rental company and does not sell cars or arrange loans. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.
Drive it like you own it
Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is.
Buying smart in Ontario
Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price.
A car meanwhile
