Auto Loans: what CarmaCars does

If financing for a car is what you need, know first that CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them; here is what we can do. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Rent it before you buy it

Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class.

Before you sign

Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car.

While you shop

Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale.

Distance, honestly

Everything CarmaCars does starts from Toronto, and we have no presence in Divide. Divide lies about 3,365 km from our location in Toronto, well outside our delivery area of about 250 km.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Questions about Divide? Send a request and a person answers honestly. Rates are shown in Canadian dollars.
