Shopping for a car in Epsom

CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell, lend or lease, but renting first is a smart step before buying. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Drive it like you own it

Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is.

Checks worth doing

Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired.

Between cars

Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives.

Renting from Toronto

CarmaCars operates from a single location in Toronto, so Epsom is outside our area. With Epsom about 1,103 km from Toronto, it is outside the 250 km we cover.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Shopping in Epsom? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. If you still want to ask about Epsom, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
