Buying a car in Epsom

CarmaCars does not sell cars or arrange loans; we rent cars, which helps when you are deciding. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Rent it before you buy it

Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class.

Checks worth doing

Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price.

Between cars

There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure.

Honest about distance

CarmaCars works from Toronto. There is no CarmaCars branch in Epsom. At roughly 1,103 km from our location in Toronto in a straight line, Epsom is outside our delivery area.

For buying in Epsom, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Epsom if you like. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
