Shopping for a car in Flora

CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell, lend or lease, but renting first is a smart step before buying. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Why rent first

A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other.

What to check before you buy

Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired.

A car meanwhile

If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars.

Our area, and Flora

CarmaCars is based in Toronto and has no location in Flora. Flora lies about 1,624 km from our location in Toronto, well outside our delivery area of about 250 km.

For buying in Flora, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Tell us what you are planning in Flora, and we will say what we can and cannot do. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.
