Before you buy in Florida

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Try it for a week first

Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other.

Buying smart in Ontario

Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive.

Before your next car arrives

A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars.

Toronto based

We are a Toronto company with no office or lot in Florida. We cover about 250 km around Toronto; at about 3,064 km, Florida is outside that.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Shopping in Florida? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Write to us with the dates and the place, and we will give you a straight answer. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the offer shows the tax.
