A rental car in Florida

Car Rental in Florida: CarmaCars is a Toronto company, so here is what we can and cannot do. One thing to know: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. A person at CarmaCars reads each request and replies with an offer.

Where we deliver

You will not find a CarmaCars location in Florida; we work from Toronto. About 3,064 km in a straight line separate Florida from our location in Toronto; our delivery stops at about 250 km.

Most trips to Florida start with a flight; if yours starts in Toronto, we can cover the car at this end. Tell us in your request that you plan to drive outside Ontario; it needs our written consent. Unsure? Send a request about Florida, and we answer plainly. All prices are in Canadian dollars.

Common reasons to rent

Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week. Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one.

Know the area

Around Florida you will also find Florida Zona Urbana, Alturas de Yanes Primera Seccion and Alturas de Yanes Segunda Seccion.

The nearest airport is Antonio (Nery) Juarbe Pol Airport (ARE), about 16 km away.

What is different here

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. If the car you want is taken, we suggest the closest match we have. You rent the car shown, with its own photos and price.

Who qualifies

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.

How it works

You ask for the car you want for the dates you need. The request itself is free. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

Still deciding?

The quickest way to a price is a request with your dates. It costs nothing.
