Auto Loans in Gerald

To be upfront: CarmaCars is a rental company and does not sell cars or arrange loans. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Drive it like you own it

Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it.

What to check before you buy

Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts.

A car meanwhile

Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale.

A Toronto company

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Gerald is outside the area we serve. We deliver within about 80 km of Toronto. Gerald, about 1,158 km away, is beyond that.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Gerald if you like. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
