Shopping for a car in Gorus

CarmaCars does not sell cars or arrange loans; we rent cars, which helps when you are deciding. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Why rent first

Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing.

Before you sign

For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes.

A car meanwhile

Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date.

Honest about distance

Plainly: we do not have a location in Gorus. CarmaCars is a Toronto company. We cover about 80 km around Toronto; at about 2,733 km, Gorus is outside that.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Shopping in Gorus? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Tell us what you need in Gorus, and a person will say straight away whether it is something we can do. Prices on this site are in Canadian dollars.
