Shopping for a car in Como

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

A test drive that lasts

A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing.

Before you sign

Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy.

While you shop

Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale.
