Buying a car in Como

Shopping for a car in Como? CarmaCars is not a dealer, a lender or a leasing company. We rent cars. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

A test drive that lasts

Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it.

A buyer's checklist

Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package.

A car meanwhile

You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed.

What CarmaCars covers

Plainly: we do not have a location in Como. CarmaCars is a Toronto company. Como lies about 2,733 km from central Toronto, well beyond our 80 km delivery area.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Tell us what you need in Como, and a person will say straight away whether it is something we can do. Prices on this site are in Canadian dollars.
