Buying a car in Intervale

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Try it for a week first

A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags.

Checks worth doing

Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price.

Bridging the gap

Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels.
