Buying a car in Islote

If you are looking for financing for a car, the honest answer first: CarmaCars does not offer it, but a rental can help along the way. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Why rent first

A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car?

Buying smart in Ontario

Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit.

Between cars

Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels.
