Auto Loans in Johnson

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. We are not a dealership, and we do not arrange loans or leases. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Drive it like you own it

Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

A buyer's checklist

Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN.

Before your next car arrives

Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned.
