Buying a car in Magee

If financing for a car is what you need, know first that CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them; here is what we can do. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Why rent first

A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car?

A buyer's checklist

Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car.

While you shop

Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date.

Where CarmaCars works

Everything CarmaCars does starts from Toronto, and we have no presence in Magee. Magee is about 660 km from our location in Toronto in a straight line, beyond the 250 km we deliver to.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Write to us with the dates and the place, and we will give you a straight answer. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
