Auto Loans in Mellette, SD

Before you buy in Mellette

Shopping for a car in Mellette? CarmaCars is not a dealer, a lender or a leasing company. We rent cars. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Rent it before you buy it

Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

A buyer's checklist

Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price.

Before your next car arrives

If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date.

Where we work

Everything CarmaCars does starts from Toronto, and we have no presence in Mellette. At about 1,524 km from central Toronto, Mellette is past the 80 km our delivery covers.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. For buying in Mellette, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Mellette if you like. Rates are shown in Canadian dollars.
