Auto Loans: what CarmaCars does

CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

A test drive that lasts

Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car.

A buyer's checklist

Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price.

While you shop

There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one.

Honest about distance

We have one location, in Toronto, and none in Middlesex. By straight line Middlesex is about 1,160 km from central Toronto; by road it is farther, and beyond our 80 km delivery area.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. For anything about Middlesex, a request reaches a person who answers honestly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
