Auto Loans for Montecito

CarmaCars does not sell cars, but before you buy one in Montecito, a short rental can answer questions a test drive cannot. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

A test drive that lasts

Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve.

A buyer's checklist

Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN.

Bridging the gap

Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale.
