Auto Loans in Nelson, VA

Buying a car in Nelson

People searching for auto loans sometimes find us. We are a rental company, and here is how that helps. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

A test drive that lasts

Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits.

A buyer's checklist

Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches.

While you shop

Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one.
