Shopping for a car in Pine Crest

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. We are not a dealership, and we do not arrange loans or leases. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Drive it like you own it

A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car.

Questions to ask

Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car.

Bridging the gap

A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure.
