Shopping for a car in Pine

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Rent it before you buy it

A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car?

Checks worth doing

Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose.

Between cars

If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip.
