Shopping for a car in Ross

CarmaCars is a rental company, so we do not sell cars; renting one first is how we help buyers. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Try it for a week first

You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence.

Checks worth doing

Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts.

Between cars

Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned.

Where we work

Plainly: we do not have a location in Ross. CarmaCars is a Toronto company. We deliver within about 250 km of Toronto. Ross, about 3,655 km away, is beyond that.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Need something in Ross? Send a request and a person replies with an honest answer. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.

One more step

Ask about renting first, and buy with a clear head.
