Shopping for a car in Ross

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Rent it before you buy it

Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it.

Before you sign

In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used.

A car meanwhile

You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush.

Our area and Ross

CarmaCars is based in Toronto and has no location in Ross. We do not deliver as far as Ross, about 3,655 km from our location in Toronto.

For buying in Ross, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. If you still want to ask about Ross, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. Note that our prices are shown in Canadian dollars.

Over to you

Rent it for a week, then decide: send a request with your dates.
