Buying a car in Schefield

CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Try it for a week first

You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it.

What to check before you buy

Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive.

While you shop

Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned.

A note on distance

Schefield is not an area we serve directly. CarmaCars is based in Toronto. We deliver within about 80 km of Toronto. Schefield, about 1,863 km away, is beyond that.

Shopping in Schefield? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Tell us what you are planning in Schefield, and we will say what we can and cannot do. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the offer shows the tax.
