Why CarmaCars

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Rates are before 13% HST, and the offer shows the tax too. Every booking has a signed agreement in your account.

Who qualifies

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

Booking with CarmaCars

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.
