Buying a car in Shepard

If financing for a car is what you need, know first that CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them; here is what we can do. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Why rent first

A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it.

Questions to ask

In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired.

Bridging the gap

Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels.

Before you plan around us

CarmaCars works from Toronto. There is no CarmaCars branch in Shepard. We deliver within about 250 km of Toronto. Shepard, about 1,055 km away, is beyond that.

Shopping in Shepard? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Tell us what you need in Shepard, and a person will say straight away whether it is something we can do. Rates are shown in Canadian dollars.
