Shopping for a car in Sunnylane

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

A test drive that lasts

If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car.

Before you sign

Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN.

While you shop

A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date.

Renting from Toronto

Sunnylane is not an area we serve directly. CarmaCars is based in Toronto. We cover about 250 km around Toronto; at about 2,185 km, Sunnylane is outside that.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. For buying in Sunnylane, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Unsure? Send a request about Sunnylane, and we answer plainly. Note that our prices are shown in Canadian dollars.

One more step

Send a request to rent the model first, or ask us what we can do.
