Why CarmaCars

Renting month to month means no long commitment and no buyout at the end. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement, and the deposit carries over. The offer is in writing, so you can check it before you agree. You choose the exact car, not a category with "or similar".

Who it is for

Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one. Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week.

Getting the car booked

A request is free and takes a few minutes: the car, your dates, and pickup or delivery. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

Renting: the basics

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.
