Shopping for a car in Thames View

CarmaCars does not sell cars, but before you buy one in Thames View, a short rental can answer questions a test drive cannot. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Drive it like you own it

Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags.

What to check before you buy

Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town.

While you shop

There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one.
