Shopping for a car in Thayer

To be upfront: CarmaCars is a rental company and does not sell cars or arrange loans. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

A test drive that lasts

Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide.

What to check before you buy

Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes.

Before your next car arrives

There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars.

About distance

We have one location, in Toronto, and none in Thayer. From our location in Toronto, Thayer is about 1,216 km away in a straight line; we deliver within about 250 km.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Shopping in Thayer? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. If you want to check something for Thayer, send a request; a person replies honestly. Prices on this site are in Canadian dollars.
