Car Financing in Thayer, SC

Car Financing: what CarmaCars does

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

A test drive that lasts

Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it.

Checks worth doing

Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price.

Before your next car arrives

If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives.
